Rafa graduated in Law and holds a BA from Universidad Carlos III in Madrid, including a 7 month stay in Università degli studi di Trieste in Italy. In addition, he holds a Masters’ degree (LLM) in Corporate Law from Centro de Estudios Garrigues in Madrid. He is a Spanish-qualified lawyer, admitted to the bar in Madrid in 2010 and specialising in tax M&A and real estate transactions. Rafa has more than 12 years of experience working at Clifford Chance, PwC and Allen&Overy, advising both buyer and seller-side transactions for a variety of clients, including international funds, private equity firms, corporations and financial institutions. Rafa joined Ryan Transactional Risk in July 2022 and has been underwriting risks in a wide range of jurisdictions.
